A Retro-futuristic Pop Embrace
H.O.M.E. 2030 (House of Magical Experiences) focuses on ways artists and designers can work directly with makers, brands, and institutions to create zero waste sustainable creative practices. H.O.M.E. 2030 uses familiar forms imbued with progressive ideas to spark conversation and inspire the next wave of cultural production. This Buckminster Fuller-inspired capsule collection was featured in the Buckminster Fuller Institute’s 2021 Design Science Studio show.

So I said, call me Trimtab: Trimtab print series
“Something hit me very hard once, thinking about what one little man could do. Think of the Queen Mary — the whole ship goes by and then comes the rudder. And there's a tiny thing at the edge of the rudder called a trimtab. It's a miniature rudder. Just moving the little trim tab builds a low pressure that pulls the rudder around. Takes almost no effort at all. So I said that the little individual can be a trimtab. Society thinks it's going right by you, that it's left you altogether. But if you're doing dynamic things mentally, the fact is that you can just put your foot out like that and the whole big ship of state is going to go. So I said, call me Trimtab.”
― R. Buckminster Fuller
“Think of it. We are blessed with technology that would be indescribable to our forefathers. We have the wherewithal, the know-it-all to feed everybody, clothe everybody, and give every human on Earth a chance. We know now what we could never have known before -- that we now have the option for all humanity to make it successfully on this planet in this lifetime. Whether it is to be Utopia or Oblivion will be a touch-and-go relay race right up to the final moment…Humanity is in a final exam as to whether or not it qualifies for continuance in the Universe.”
